Happy St. Patrick's Day

We needed a happy day in our house. Here is the outcome. I hope you all enjoyed St. Patrick's Day as much as we did!

We started our day off with green pancakes. At this point I was improvising because the idea had come to me late the night before.

Connor came home wearing his Elf hat and some gold money he intended to keep forever! It lasted 30 minutes before it was smashed and melting. He ate it and declared it to be, "Great tasting Gold"

Connor and I spent the day making these Green sugar cookies. We delivered them to friends so we wouldn't eat them all.

We finished the day off with Green sherbert! It was a great day!

Thanks Daddy!

Daddy spoiled us for Valentines! I know I am late posting this, but bear with me.

Mom got flowers!

Legos for Brennan

Hotwheels for Connor

Valentine PJ's for Ryleigh
We wanted to get the pictures to you sooner than later, Daddy. We love you!

Dress Up Time

Connor loves to dress up. But he calls it "play costumes". It can keep him busy for quite awhile. On this day, Ryleigh was catching on!

This is a story I have on Connor that I have meant to write down. A few months ago I let Connor wear his Superman costume to the mall. He was very surprised I let him do this. But it was worth it. Everyone was pointing and saying how cute he was. A few people tried talking to him, saying "Hello Superman". He just looked at them like they were crazy! "I'm not superman I am just dressed up like him" he would say. When we left the mall he asked me why those people didn't know he wasn't superman? He was baffled!

On Top of the World

Do you have a moment in your life when you felt like you were sitting on top of the world?

Mine was back in 2001. I had been married for about three months so who wouldn't feel great? I had just graduated from college with a bachelors in Psychology and pregnant with Brennan. I was driving myself to Alabama to embark on my next adventure and feeling wonderful. I know, you are asking why if I was moving to Alabama I was anything but comatosed. Well, not only were my dreams coming true but Kyle's as well. He had been accepted into the Army's flight program. We were excited for the future and naive enough to think everything would be smooth sailing.

I am not sure what my point is to be honest. I just loved this picture of Ryleigh and I look forward to sharing many "On top of the World" moments with her.
