Ryleigh's Best Friend

Ryleigh had her first best friend this year!  Ryleigh had been asking for a friend in September.  She knew she was getting a sister but the wait just seemed to be too much.  Luckily we found Briar! Briar is a little girl from the ward.  She is 6 months older than Ryleigh and has the best imagination.  We love to have her over!  The toys actually get played with when she comes!The two girls loved to play dress up and you never knew what they would have on, sometimes it was dress-up clothes, sometimes they would just wear one anothers clothes. They would jump on the trampoline, have tea parties and play house.  Ryleigh was always in heaven when Briar was over!  I hope she has as much fun with Kelsey in a few years!
Unfortunately, Ryleigh learned how hard it is to say goodbye to a best friend too.  We had a cupcake party before Briar left.  They had so much fun!  The goal seemed to be how many sprinkles they could get on one cupcake!

This last picture is from October when they first started playing together.  They sure changed a lot in 9 months!
